📋 Description

• Write and integrate compliant, persuasive content for federal RFP, RFQ, RFI, sources-sought, and task-order responses • Analyze solicitations and amendments, including Sections C, H, L, and M, SOWs/PWSs, evaluation criteria, and submission instructions • Develop annotated outlines, writing plans, compliance crosswalks, and proposal templates • Interview program managers, solution architects, engineers, recruiters, and partner personnel to extract technical details, proof points, metrics, risks, and win themes • Translate complex technical solutions into clear narratives tailored to federal evaluators • Substantively edit, rewrite, and organize SME, internal contributor, and teaming-partner inputs • Conceptualize proposal graphics, callout boxes, tables, and action captions • Participate in Pink, Red, and Gold proposal color reviews and lead content recovery and revision cycles • Conduct reciprocal peer reviews and copy editing across volumes • Use approved generative-AI tools for requirements extraction, drafting, rewriting, gap identification, and editorial polishing while validating outputs against source documents • Support document production, formatting, and page-count management • Maintain reusable content libraries, past performance write-ups, resume repositories, capability matrices, and boilerplate materials • Partner with executive leadership, technical SMEs, and teaming partners to articulate discriminators, win themes, and value proposition

🎯 Requirements

• At least four (4) years of direct federal proposal writing experience • Experience authoring substantive technical, management, and past performance sections • Exceptional writing, developmental editing, and proofreading skills • Ability to transform raw SME notes into polished proposal prose • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and standard RFP structures, including Sections C, L, and M • Experience with Shipley- or APMP-aligned proposal methods • Experience mapping text to solicitation requirements, compliance matrices, and annotated outlines • Hands-on experience with ChatGPT or enterprise generative-AI tools, with rigorous source verification • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including styles, formatting, tables, and template management • Working knowledge of PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat • Ability to manage concurrent writing assignments and strict deadlines • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to pass company background checks and employment verification • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred; equivalent relevant work experience will be considered • APMP Foundation certification or formal proposal writing training is preferred • Experience writing proposals for DoD, the Intelligence Community, DHS, DOJ, or civilian federal agencies is preferred • Experience with small-business prime bids, subcontractor inputs, and major IDIQ/GWAC task-order responses is preferred • Familiarity with translating IT and data-heavy concepts into lay-friendly federal solution narratives is preferred • Active or recently held federal security clearance is preferred
