📋 Description

• Lead architecture and implementation of critical platform capabilities • Own complex technical initiatives from conception through production • Design scalable distributed systems and services • Identify and resolve architectural, reliability, and performance bottlenecks • Establish engineering patterns and technical standards • Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership • Influence long-term platform architecture and technology decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience • Experience with YC or venture-backed startups • Strong expertise in distributed systems and system architecture • Deep proficiency in at least one major programming language • Experience operating systems at meaningful scale • Strong technical leadership and communication skills • Ability to influence across teams without direct authority • AI/ML infrastructure experience is nice to have • Kubernetes, cloud, GPUs, or distributed compute experience is nice to have • Experience at a fast-growing technology company is nice to have • Experience designing highly available platforms is nice to have • Fluent English required • Must have appropriate United States work authorization or require employer sponsorship consideration
