📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive systems and frameworks for AI applications and products • Construct prototypes and minimum viable products to validate AI/ML solutions • Develop, refine, and productionize AI systems using Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and Cognitive Services • Contribute to robust data pipelines for model evolution and production systems • Develop specifications for low-latency APIs and services for deploying AI models into applications • Supervise and sustain AI systems in production to ensure model accuracy and reliability • Participate in a team using principled, agile-like development practices • Create and maintain documentation aligned with team procedures and corporate policies • Ensure peer review of assigned work and conduct peer reviews of others’ work • Guide junior AI engineers on AI/ML best practices and methodologies • Keep current with new tools and concepts through documentation, literature, and skills development • Support and participate in meetings with external stakeholders • Collaborate cross-functionally to ideate and prototype AI products • Take AI/ML solutions from initial concept through full production implementation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or 2+ years of experience in a related, professional IT/analytics position • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience developing, deploying, and maintaining AI or ML systems • Up to two years of industry experience may be substituted with an AI-centered Master’s/PhD or AI Engineering certifications • At least 4 years of experience developing deep learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLX, JAX, or other modern deep learning frameworks • Knowledge and experience implementing ethical AI practices, including explainable AI, fairness, and bias mitigation • At least 2 years working on projects requiring explainable AI, fairness, and bias mitigation • Minimum of 3 years’ proficiency in advanced prompt engineering techniques such as General Knowledge Prompting and ReAct • Experience with LangChain or OpenPrompt • Ability to mitigate prompt injection attacks and use Guardrails or PromptInject • Minimum of 3 years’ experience productionizing AI models, scalable data pipelines, and monitoring systems • 3+ years working within Agile-like teams and environments • Experience with CNNs, transformers, GANs, LSTMs, GNNs, Autoencoders, Diffusion Models, and NODEs • Proficiency in debugging AI systems and hyperparameter tuning • Familiarity with software design patterns, microservices, distributed computing, and container orchestration • Proficient software engineering skills and experience building secure, stable software systems at scale • Proficiency in Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and scikit-learn • Familiarity with traditional ML lifecycles • Familiarity with Streamlit or Shiny • Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills • Ability to articulate technical details and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, with or without accommodation
