📋 Description

• Provide overall operational and strategic leadership for a hospital’s supply chain • Oversee day-to-day hospital supply chain operations, including inventory management, purchasing, strategic sourcing, value analysis, regulatory and compliance, process improvements and performance management • Implement best practices and maximize technology • Develop and socialize supply chain financial and operational dashboards • Establish goals and metrics • Build and foster C-suite client relationships • Develop and implement consulting strategies aligned with client goals • Develop and implement client goals, objectives, performance standards and priorities • Lead, mentor and develop staff • Engage executive, physician, clinical and business leaders • Support strategic and operational supply chain projects • Develop standardized workflows and processes • Run operations for acute and non-acute entities, including distribution, sourcing, digital print center, courier, contracting and analytics • Develop and manage the hospital supply chain budget • Develop cost-savings strategies and targets and drive savings • Lead emergency preparedness planning and pandemic inventory activities • Identify and standardize best practices across clients • Develop and maximize shared services to create client efficiencies • Perform administrative functions and other supply-chain-related activities requested by the Engagement Manager or Executive Sponsor

🎯 Requirements

• 12 or more years of applicable experience • Bachelor’s degree required • Demonstrated supply chain transformation experience • Consulting experience • Progressive leadership within Supply Chain or Hospital Operations • Knowledge of healthcare supply chain management principles and concepts in procurement, receiving, distribution, replenishment, value analysis, materials management systems and equipment management • Extensive leadership experience developing and implementing short- and long-term strategy and leading teams • Project and change management experience • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Experience with current healthcare supply chain information systems • Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods • Ability to adapt and change priorities quickly and meet deadlines • Attention to detail • Ability to operate computer programs and software • Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically • Ability to make independent decisions • Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions • Travel 81–100% within the US
