📋 Description

• Manage, optimize, oversee and monitor retrieval, storage and distribution of large data sets • Enable data-driven business processes and deliver actionable insights through dashboards, reports and self-service visualization tools • Develop, construct, test and maintain data architecture, ELT processes, logical and physical data models, data marts, metadata repositories and data warehouse designs • Optimize data retrieval and develop data set processes and algorithms to improve reliability, efficiency and quality • Maintain the business glossary and resources supporting cross-functional collaboration on analytical data • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs, improve delivery and automate business processes • Provide technical guidance and build and test proofs of concept • Cross-train, support and work closely with Data Scientists, Systems Analysts and Report Developers • Mentor junior analytics engineers and ensure adherence to engineering standards, testing practices and performance optimization • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, engineering or another IT-related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience • High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED • 5 years of experience in IT, including 3 years in data analytics engineering and experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or analytics • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship • Ability to architect, develop and maintain cloud technologies • Understanding of relational and dimensional modeling • Ability to develop, maintain, review and translate data models • Proficient in SQL, procedures, ELT implementations and cloud databases • Experience owning moderately complex analytics engineering solutions end-to-end • Understanding of Pharmacy Benefit Management / Healthcare ecosystem • DBT certification or equivalent work experience preferred • Experience with GitHub and Jira preferred • Programming experience in Python and R preferred • Experience with GCP and BigQuery preferred • Experience with common BI tools and cloud products preferred • Ability to comply with security responsibilities, controls, legal, regulatory, contractual and internal policy requirements • Ability to perform essential job functions, with reasonable accommodations where applicable
