📋 Description

• Provide and coordinate nursing care in a non-acute ambulatory, medical office, or urgent care setting • Provide direct nursing care within established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory scope of practice • Develop individualized patient care plans addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs • Promote wellness, restore health, and address health-related situational problems using ambulatory care nursing competencies • Assess patient needs and apply evidence-based ambulatory care nursing practice • Administer prescribed medications and treatments • Coordinate and document patient assessment, education, medication administration, treatments, and patient safety • Delegate tasks and duties to healthcare team members • Communicate patient condition and concerns to healthcare team members • Educate patients and families on recommended post-visit self-care • Integrate patient and family education into care delivery • Provide a compassionate and therapeutic environment • Report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required, with BSN preferred • No experience required • In lieu of an associate degree in nursing, an RN diploma or certificate is accepted with a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or a license to practice as an RN in the state where the team member is working • Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State, or license to practice as an RN in the state where the team member is working • Knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values, policies, procedures, professional standards, state regulations, and accreditation standards • Ability to provide ambulatory nursing care within regulatory scope of practice • Ability to administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing protocols • Ability to coordinate and document patient care • Ability to delegate tasks according to patient needs and team member qualifications • Ability to adhere to infection control and safety protocols
