📋 Description

• Perform technical work involving installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and calibration of OEM medical devices or systems • Perform technical inspections and maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, calibrations, and work performed • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance, unplanned maintenance, and required equipment upgrades • Install and de-install OEM equipment, conduct site inspections, and interact with customers and contractors as needed • Establish and maintain customer satisfaction through service excellence • Complete and submit expense reports within department guidelines • Train customers on basic operation and use of medical devices • Respond urgently to customer inquiries in writing, in person, or by telephone • Escalate customer issues and unresolved product problems to service management according to escalation protocol • Promote service contracts and assist Sales in selling service agreements within the assigned territory • Follow Probo’s safety, quality, and productivity standards and policies • Complete installations, deinstallations, repairs, maintenance, and regulatory compliance paperwork accurately and on time • Manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and promptly return unused and failed parts • Perform preventive maintenance on time, provide expedited on-site response, and minimize equipment downtime • Work primarily in hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities, with administrative duties in a home office • Report to the VP, Service Delivery - DI

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, biomedical technology, electrical engineering or equivalent; military equivalency is acceptable • Previous mechanical or electronics work experience in a field service, hospital-based, or military setting • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, software operating systems, and network technology • Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers in a solution-based service process • Familiarity with common electronic test equipment, including digital multi-meters and safety analyzers • Experience with or ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, illustrated parts diagrams, and technical manuals for biomedical and imaging instrumentation • Valid driver's license and good driving record; must pass a motor vehicle record check • Ability to adhere to hospital credentialing requirements, including customer- or facility-required drug testing and immunizations • Ability to resolve problems, think analytically, work independently, and communicate professionally • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime, often on short notice • High degree of mechanical aptitude • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong time management skills • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances • Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills • Attention to detail • Ability to multitask with shifting priorities • Ability to work productively in a pressurized environment • Ability to meet customer-required certification/credentialing requirements • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time • Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing at least 50 lbs • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and drive for long periods; stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend • Ability to operate an automobile • Valid state driver's license and good driving record
