📋 Description

• Support the Business System IT department • Using an Agile development methodology, develop and maintain applications supporting Accounting, Procurement, Human Resources, Project Controls, and other business departments • Work with customers and Business Analysts to develop user stories and storyboards • Develop interfaces between enterprise systems and in-house applications • Develop reports using SQL Server Report Services (SSRS) • Support end-users with user manuals and initial training • Perform initial developer testing • Support QA Analyst in developing fully documented test plans • Evaluate procedures to verify they meet regulatory requirements • Translate user requirements into overall application architecture and implement new systems • Work on client-side and server-side software application components, including frontend, backend, database, server, API, and version-control systems • Assess and communicate how websites should look, feel, and manipulate data while considering technical limitations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field with a minimum of 5 years experience • Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field with minimum of 7 years experience • High School Diploma with a minimum of 9 years experience • Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills • Teamwork skills are important in the highly-matrixed project environment • Demonstrated experience and success in all phases of the software development lifecycle including user stories and storyboard development, application development, test plan development, testing, production turnover and documentation • Candidate must be a full stack developer with at least 5 years experience using C# • ASP.net MVC • Java Script • HTML • CSS • SQL data manipulation • Secure coding techniques • Experience with JQuery and IIS is preferred but not required • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, LESS, Angular, and ReactJS • Knowledge of at least one server-side programming language such as Java, Python, Ruby, or .Net • Knowledge of DBMS technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, or SQLServer • Knowledge of caching mechanisms such as varnish, Memcached, or Redis is a plus • Basic prototype design and UI/UX design knowledge • Exposure to Apache or nginx servers is desirable • Linux background is helpful • Knowledge of Git • Knowledge of REST and SOAP services is desirable • Ability to write quality unit tests • Understanding of automated processes for building, testing, documenting, and deploying at scale • Awareness of security concerns and layer vulnerabilities • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio • A security clearance is not required
