📋 Description

• Perform coding audits and review outpatient provider services • Support coding optimization and compliance for the medical group • Work side by side with outpatient providers • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and support with the code entry process • Support documentation, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCC coding in alignment with current medical group reimbursement requirements

🎯 Requirements

• National Certification from American Academy of Professional Coders upon hire, or certification from American Health Information Management Association upon hire • 3 years recent outpatient medical coding experience • Experience working with physicians, with an emphasis on coaching and communication • EMR experience, preferably Epic • Experience coaching and training physicians • Proven history of proactively identifying, resolving and escalating issues that impact business and documentation outcomes • Track record in organizing and planning, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
