📋 Description

• Guide customers in adopting Pulumi’s infrastructure-as-code platform • Partner with the Sales team to articulate Pulumi’s value, vision, and strategy • Own technical pre-sales engagements, including technical discovery, demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical wins • Technically close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skills, and credibility • Serve as a technical partner to cloud and platform engineering teams, guiding architectural decisions and best practices • Deliver product and technical presentations to potential clients at customer meetings and Pulumi events • Advocate for customers and connect customer requirements with product and engineering teams and the roadmap • Solve new problems, teach Pulumi technologies, and develop better ways to delight customers

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting • Proficiency with one or more modern programming languages such as Go, Python, TypeScript, C# or Java • Deep familiarity with core cloud-based infrastructure, application modernization, Open Source technologies, and public and/or private cloud platforms • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or AWS CDK • Demonstrated experience in software development and related best practices • Proven ability to lead and manage technical customer engagements, including scoping, expectation setting, and successful delivery • Experience in solution selling methodologies such as MEDDPICC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales • Experience building relationships with technical stakeholders and business leaders • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments, take ownership, and drive outcomes • Experience in a startup environment or fast-paced technology company (nice to have) • Public cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) (nice to have) • Experience with enterprise software sales (nice to have)
