📋 Description

• Lead and inspire a high-performing SLED Systems Engineering team • Develop people and advocate for employees with a focus on team and people development • Drive operational excellence and support creation and validation of technical demand • Lead by example through Everpure’s values • Understand customer business drivers and decision-making motivations • Communicate the advantages of Pure Storage solutions • Refine sales strategy and tactics while leading technical responsibilities • Provide technical leadership and domain expertise in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings • Enable the team to capture requirements and translate customer needs into innovative solutions • Author RFI and RFP responses when needed • Develop interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation opportunities • Promote roadmap and planning exchanges • Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to promote thought leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of management experience leading high-performing Sales Engineers selling in Enterprise Accounts • 10+ years of experience supporting sales of storage, networking, or systems solutions to large accounts and data centers • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions architecture, design, and implementation • Experience setting team strategy to acquire new prospects and convert them into clients • Knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN • Strong knowledge of Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers • Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills • BS in CS, EE, or another technical degree and/or equivalent experience
