📋 Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the accounts payable team • Review and approve payment batches, expense reports, and vendor reconciliations • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries • Prepare and maintain reports related to accounts payable metrics, aging, and cash flow forecasting • Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements • Train, mentor, and evaluate accounts payable staff • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and audit support • Plan and arrange own work and the team's work, referring unusual cases to management

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • 5 - 7 years of work experience required; 8 - 11 years preferred • Experience managing and overseeing accounts payable functions • Experience supervising accounts payable staff • Knowledge of vendor invoices, payments, expense reports, and reconciliations • Knowledge of company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable • Ability to prepare accounts payable metrics, aging, and cash flow forecasting reports • Ability to support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and audit support • Must successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screens
