• Plan, organize, and direct fleet functions, services, and activities supporting mobile clinical operations • Supervise Class A and clinical drivers and fleet administration staff • Oversee maintenance and modification of mobile medical clinics and support vehicles • Drive improvements in fleet uptime, operating cost per mile, driver safety, and regulatory audit readiness • Manage hiring, onboarding, performance appraisals, recognition, and disciplinary actions • Ensure FMCSA/DOT compliance for driver files, hours of service, testing, inspections, maintenance records, registration, taxes, and permits • Maintain and audit Driver Qualification Files under 49 CFR Part 391 • Oversee HOS compliance and the ELD program under 49 CFR Part 395 • Review vehicle maintenance and inspection records under 49 CFR Part 396 • Maintain the cloud-based vehicle and staff reporting system and accurate service records • Oversee pre- and post-trip inspections, DVIR corrective actions, work orders, and roadside inspection readiness • Monitor weather and route conditions and advise on safer, more efficient routes • Communicate with drivers and authorize emergency repairs or vehicle replacement when needed • Monitor fleet KPIs including uptime, MTTR, cost per mile, fuel economy, idle time, and accident rate • Coordinate DOT-mandated drug and alcohol testing with Human Resources • Assist with incidents and accidents, evidence collection, and corrective-action reports • Coordinate driver recruiting, onboarding, training, retention, licensing renewals, and re-certification • Oversee driver travel cards, MHC payment cards, and fuel card usage • Ensure compliance with multi-state Highway Use Tax and Weight-Mile Tax requirements • Perform other assigned duties
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent combined education and experience • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required • 5+ years of CDL driving experience • Minimum 4 years of experience in transportation, supervising drivers and coordinating activities for 5 or more vehicles • 5+ years of experience with cloud-based fleet/personnel management systems highly desirable • Valid U.S. driver's license • Ability/willingness to drive between work locations • Must successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation • Regulatory compliance and DOT/FMCSA audit readiness • Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and cloud-based fleet/personnel management systems • Proficiency with MS Office Suite • Flexible schedule, including weekends and after-hours availability • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
