📋 Description

• Provide field leadership and oversight for electric distribution line construction projects • Manage and inspect day-to-day activities of multiple electric contractor crews • Facilitate electric infrastructure installation while ensuring safety standards, company specifications, and governmental regulations are met • Manage cycle-time and cost performance objectives • Oversee contractors performing electric cable installations and electric cut-ins • Notify federal, state, and local agencies before, during, and after construction as required • Coordinate with customers regarding jobsite requirements, construction sequencing, and site readiness • Maintain contact with contractor supervision regarding job performance and document results • Ensure distribution contract terms, conditions, and technical specifications are met • Verify key unit quantities • Make and communicate field decisions regarding job changes and document updates in information technology systems • Schedule and coordinate required electric system outages • Perform weekly crew safety audits and document performance in the Asset Suite Safety Audit/Observation Tool • Coordinate permit and work-with requirements with third-party utilities and permit agencies • Review and approve contractor-submitted documentation • Communicate job status to facilitate scheduling commitments • Maintain customer coordination during construction and conduct completion walk-downs • Perform storm duty assignments as needed • Report to service center, jobsite, or remote location

🎯 Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of company work, environmental, and safety practices • Working knowledge of electric operations • Ability to maintain or obtain switching and outage authorization • 10+ years of construction management oversight • Thorough knowledge of PC and job/work management applications, including AS8, Atlas, Mobile Maps, and MS Office Suite • In-depth knowledge of materials, construction standards, OSHA regulations, and safety requirements for electric distribution and substation construction • Distribution line experience
