📋 Description

• Coordinate with Substation Physical Engineering, Relay Settings, and other groups to ensure design concurrence • Develop complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communications systems • Develop SCADA packages, including input/output lists (Point Data Sheets) • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to drafters, engineering technicians, and less experienced engineers • Develop, nurture, and maintain trusted relationships with senior engineers, managers, executives, and current or prospective clients • Present technical solutions to key customers and respond to technical concerns and questions • Direct and/or participate in client meetings and job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data • Ensure QA/QC processes are followed on all design packages • Delegate, plan, prioritize, and review the work of other engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a power systems focus • An MS Degree in engineering may be considered in lieu of the BS Engineering degree • International Engineering Degrees will be considered • Seven or more years of electrical engineering experience desired; experience in protection and control engineering required • Professional Engineer (PE) registration or plan to become registered is required • Professional Engineering registration in the working state is a plus • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required • Strong analytical and computer skills
