📋 Description

• Lead application migration and modernization initiatives for enterprise workloads transitioning to AWS • Define and execute rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies based on application architecture and business needs • Conduct application discovery, codebase assessment, and dependency mapping • Design and implement cloud-native application architectures using microservices and serverless patterns • Refactor monolithic applications into modular, scalable components • Modernize application code, frameworks, and runtime environments including .NET, Java, and Python • Integrate and enhance CI/CD pipelines for modern application development and deployment • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application transformation and delivery • Provide technical leadership and mentorship while remaining hands-on with design and development

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience • Proven experience in full-stack application development using modern frontend and backend technologies • Strong proficiency in Java, C#, Node.js, and Python • Strong experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar • Experience building enterprise-grade web applications and RESTful APIs using microservices architecture • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap and Material UI • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and modern software design principles • Experience with API design, integration, and application security, including OAuth and JWT • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps practices • Experience designing and deploying applications on AWS or other cloud platforms • Hands-on experience with application migration and modernization to cloud, including rehost, replatform, and refactor • Strong understanding of microservices, API-first, and distributed system architectures • Ability to lead architecture design while remaining hands-on with development • Experience conducting code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring security best practices • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex production issues and optimize performance • Proven ability to mentor teams and drive engineering best practices • Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environments and strong Shell scripting experience • Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases • Ability to understand and meet architecture requirements, ensuring effective design, development, validation, and support • Capability to identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs and recommend effective solutions • Knowledge of identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and ensuring application scalability and efficiency
