📋 Description

• Build the systems and relationships enabling Quo teams to add features to the public API quickly • Drive adoption of the API across engineering • Own the long-term architecture for the API platform • Develop the planned Python and TypeScript SDK strategy and generated API ecosystem • Serve as technical point of contact for partnerships, product, and leadership • Set expectations and protect the API roadmap • Mentor senior engineers through design reviews, PR reviews, and coaching • Keep the platform fast, reliable, and observable as traffic grows • Own infrastructure end to end, including the cluster, databases, Redis, and queues

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in engineering with real time at staff level • Prior experience as a staff-level technical leader rather than a manager • Experience building or owning a public API, developer platform, SDKs, or webhooks for a paid product • Dev tooling background accepted • Experience driving major cross-team change at a company with 80+ engineers • Experience working through the Series B into growth stage at a company with 100 to 300 engineers • Comfortable owning infrastructure alongside application code • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Ability to build rapport across teams
