📋 Description

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services • Manage VMware or Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure • Administer Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms • Manage switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability and proactively resolve issues • Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes and testing • Administer endpoint management, patch management, software deployment, and device configuration • Support identity and access management systems, including Active Directory and Azure AD • Implement security controls, hardening standards, and compliance requirements • Lead and contribute to infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployments • Document system configurations, procedures, and runbooks • Provide senior-level technical escalation support for helpdesk and IT operations teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of enterprise systems administration experience in a complex IT environment • Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP • Experience administering VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS • Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions and testing • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship • Experience in a healthcare IT environment and familiarity with HIPAA security requirements • Linux server administration experience • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Azure Administrator Associate • VMware certification (VCP) or equivalent • Experience with SCCM, Intune, or Jamf • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
