📋 Description

• Collaborate with senior software engineers and other team members to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable software • Maintain the existing codebase and develop new features as business needs change • Identify and implement technologies and techniques to improve platform performance and customer experience • Work independently and determine when to seek assistance with complex problems • Author technical design documentation according to business and solution architecture requirements • Follow and ensure engineering best practices using modern SDLC, CI/CD, automation, auditability, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and policy as code • Troubleshoot and research common issues using existing procedures and adapting as needed • Develop relationships with diverse teams across organizational levels to articulate technology solutions and gain trust and buy-in • Collaborate with architects and engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree • Minimum of 2 years of experience • Understanding of object-oriented principles in languages such as C#, C++, and Java • Understanding of modern software development, including version control, unit testing, and continuous integration • Strong communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas and document concisely • Proficient computer skills, including spreadsheets, Internet, and email • Knowledge of web services standards and related technologies: XML, XSD, SOAP, JSON, REST • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React • Familiarity with automated test tools • Experience with relational or non-relational database technologies and concepts including MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, HBase, ACID, and CAP theorem • Agile development experience • Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, collaborate effectively, and give and receive feedback
