📋 Description

• Build and ship well-defined features and bug fixes across the full stack, focusing on SQL Server queries and stored procedures powering .NET Core APIs and React interfaces • Follow best practices for code quality, testing, source control, and deployment workflows • Own work through launch and beyond, addressing bugs, regressions, slow queries, and open questions • Participate in pull request reviews and technical discussions, and seek help when blocked • Protect sensitive data by following HIPAA and data-handling guidelines and using mocked or anonymized data • Build product, customer, and Health and Human Services domain knowledge while progressing toward independent feature delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in software development, whether professional, internship, academic, or personal projects • A BS degree, or equivalent professional experience or certifications • Working knowledge of SQL Server, including T-SQL, joins, stored procedures, indexes, and reading execution plans • Working knowledge of C# and .NET Core, including building or consuming REST APIs • A working understanding of full-stack development and how data flows from a SQL Server database through a .NET Core API to a React front end • A foundational understanding of data structures and algorithms • A basic understanding of source code management such as Git and deployment tools • A track record of contributing to the delivery of a feature or project, and the ability to clearly describe your role in it • A sense of ownership and accountability for the quality of your work • A collaborative approach to working with other engineers, product managers, and QA, including openness to feedback • An understanding of the responsibility that comes with building healthcare software, and of the importance of protecting PHI and other sensitive customer information
