📋 Description

• Build and improve responsive web experiences across Rare Candy’s collector-facing product • Develop maintainable interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern web tooling • Integrate with GraphQL APIs and collaborate with backend engineers on data requirements and API contracts • Own features from technical planning through implementation, testing, rollout, and follow-up improvements • Build reusable components and consistent interaction patterns • Ensure experiences work across devices and browsers, with attention to accessibility, loading states, error handling, and performance • Investigate production bugs and address underlying causes • Collaborate with product and design to balance user needs, technical constraints, and timelines • Contribute code reviews and communicate progress, tradeoffs, and blockers • Review feature feedback and performance • Scope collection browsing experiences with design and backend engineering • Participate in product discussions about upcoming drops • Share pull requests with summaries, screenshots, and testing notes

🎯 Requirements

• Around 3–5 years of web engineering experience and meaningful production feature delivery • React and TypeScript experience • Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Ability to take features from product brief or design through implementation and release • Experience with GraphQL or REST APIs • Understanding of data fetching, caching, and client-side state management • Experience building responsive, accessible interfaces • Understanding of component design, rendering behavior, and performance tradeoffs • Ability to write useful tests and debug browser, network, and API issues • Clear communication of technical tradeoffs • Ability to work in a fast-moving startup with shifting priorities • Knowledge of trading-card or collector communities
