📋 Description

• Own the iOS subscription and payments stack end to end, including product configuration, purchase and restore flows, entitlement state, offers, and paywall surfaces • Architect the StoreKit2 integration, establish patterns, and handle interrupted and deferred purchases, upgrades, downgrades, crossgrades, refunds, revocations, billing retry, and price increase consent • Partner with the server team on signed transaction verification, reconciliation, idempotency, and entitlement correctness • Collaborate with product, design, and data on pricing, offers, and paywall experimentation • Scope and ship revenue-affecting work from concept through launch and measurement • Contribute to iOS architecture, system design, performance, testing practices, and technical-debt management • Act as the client-side escalation point for member payment issues • Maintain monitoring and release discipline to identify problems proactively • Raise engineering standards through code review, technical mentorship, and written specifications

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional iOS development experience • Strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, MVVM, and reactive programming • Expert-level, hands-on Apple StoreKit2 experience • Built and operated StoreKit2 integrations end to end at least twice in production • Experience with product configuration, purchase and restore flows, Transaction.updates, current entitlements and subscription status, introductory/promotional/win-back offers, offer codes, and sandbox-through-production testing • Direct, native StoreKit2 integration experience beyond third-party abstraction layers • Production Stripe Payments/Subscriptions experience for a B2C product • Experience collaborating with a server team on App Store Server Notifications V2, signed transaction verification, reconciliation, and idempotent duplicate-event handling • Track record of building and shipping consumer mobile applications to scaled audiences • Strong judgment on architecture, performance optimization, and user experience • Strong consumer product sense • Ability to partner with product, design, and data on revenue-affecting work • Proven ability to lead projects from concept through launch and own shipped work post-launch • AI-forward mindset and curiosity about emerging technologies
