📋 Description

• Design, code, test, and debug complex software while developing new functionality • Stay close to technical decisions, serving as an escalation point for complex delivery issues • Create design artifacts for new software and web applications • Deliver high-quality software across backend, frontend, and mobile platforms • Lead and develop a team of software engineers, managing their performance • Actively mentor peers and less experienced engineers • Partner with VPs of Software and Architecture to validate design tradeoffs • Drive planning discipline, delivery cadence, and effective execution of initiatives • Utilize tools like Windsurf and advanced models to improve review quality • Raise standards for coding practices, code reviews, and testing strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or affiliated discipline • Ten plus years of experience in software development • Strong understanding of SDLC in a regulated industry • Cloud architecture experience • Modern software design patterns • Back-end architecture and design • Front-end architecture and design • Mentoring peers and less experienced engineers • Experience with PHP, Python, React, JavaScript, and MariaDB/SQL • Expert in API design and development
