📋 Description

• Assist with RedSeal deployments for enterprise and federal clients • Take ownership of defined tasks and components within broader implementation plans • Configure and integrate RedSeal with Splunk, Azure Sentinel, ServiceNow, and other SIEM/ITSM platforms under senior engineer guidance • Support deployment and tuning across hybrid IT, cloud, OT, and IoT environments • Help deliver standard training sessions for client teams • Document implementation steps and workflows • Assist in building dashboards, reports, and workflows tailored to client compliance and operational needs • Learn to develop Python/API automation scripts to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort • Translate customer objectives into practical delivery-plan tasks • Troubleshoot and resolve technical implementation and onboarding issues, escalating complex cases to senior engineers • Support client success after implementation and flag opportunities for platform expansion • Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and senior engineers • Execute assigned implementation-plan tasks under senior engineer guidance • Flag new data sources, use cases, or automation opportunities that could reduce customer busywork • Communicate status clearly and escalate early when issues arise

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years minimum in network/security engineering, IT support, or a related technical role; internships and academic lab experience count • Foundational networking knowledge: routing/switching basics, firewalls, IPv4/IPv6, and VLANs • Comfortable learning IPsec, BGP/OSPF, and MPLS on the job • Basic familiarity with AWS or Azure • Interest in learning SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel • Willingness to learn Python and JSON/YAML automation fundamentals • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to customers alongside a senior engineer • Learning mindset and comfort working directly with customers in a technical, fast-paced environment • Nice-to-have certifications: Network+, Security+, CCNA, or AWS/Azure Fundamentals • Nice-to-have exposure to Python, PowerShell, or bash scripting • Nice-to-have coursework or exposure to NIST, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks • Interest in AI-powered security tools, automated analysis, or machine learning applications
