• Design, analyze, test, install, and support Epic information system solutions across the hospital network • Provide consultation and technical support to enterprise departments and system end users • Serve as technical coordinator between departments and outside vendors • Complete Epic certifications, training, projects, testing, system build, development, and unit testing • Provide subject matter expertise and business process knowledge to project teams • Define system requirements and assist with project plans, vendor selection, contracts, and statements of work • Write design specifications and contribute to process diagrams, screen layouts, and other design elements • Develop and validate training materials and participate in end-user training • Support go-live events through support, training, troubleshooting, resource coordination, and detailed planning • Monitor incident tickets and provide timely issue resolution • Maintain software at supportable levels and keep detailed system documentation • Lead current-state analysis, alternative-solution development, system design, testing, and implementation activities • Develop project plans and comprehensive test plans for implementations and upgrades • Coordinate cross-functional integrated testing, schedules, staffing, and issue tracking • Participate in change management and optimization activities • Advise the supervisor on project progress and key issues • Perform other assignments specified by the supervisor
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future or current employer sponsorship • Two to three years’ experience with Information technology application development, training, and implementation in a healthcare setting • Experience in Epic systems and processes strongly preferred • Certification in Epic application(s) required within four months of hiring • Prior experience or knowledge in ambulatory and hospital revenue cycle workflows, scheduling, registration, patient accounting, HIM, and/or authorization/precertification processes is a benefit • Ability to complete assigned Epic certifications, training, projects, and testing • Ability to provide technical support, analyze system/process issues, develop solutions, create documentation, and coordinate implementations • Ability to communicate successfully at all levels of the organization and function independently with minimal oversight
• Full-time schedule: 40 hours weekly, 8:00am–5:00pm day shift • Epic training, with training available onsite at Verona, Wisconsin or virtually from the office
