📋 Description

• Organize young people on campuses and in surrounding communities to increase voter participation • Register young people to vote and secure plan-to-vote commitments • Recruit, train, oversee, and motivate volunteers and community leaders • Hit weekly and phase goals for voter registration, voter contact, events, and turnout • Meet all data and field reporting deadlines • Attend weekly campus team and one-to-one meetings • Conduct in-person voter and community engagement at businesses, campuses, and events • Work with college administrations to increase civic participation and campus voter registration • Recruit volunteers through phone banking and text banking • Support NextGen student clubs and collaborate with student leaders to run clubs and host campus and online events • Develop relationships with local communities and student groups • Plan and host community, campus, and virtual events • Report to the Campus Organizing Manager • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to work independently and autonomously • Effective communication in one-to-one, group, and public environments • Strong work ethic • Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to reliably and consistently commute to designated work sites • Ability to reliably and consistently transport organizing materials, including wagons, tables, and campaign materials • Willingness and ability to work approximately 8–10 hours per day, 5 days per week • General availability to work weekends and irregular hours • Ability to work approximately 10–12 hours per day, 6 days per week during designated high-capacity events • Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week during the 14 days before the General Election in even years • Previous electoral organizing experience is a plus • Bilingual candidates are a plus
