📋 Description

• Provide first- and second-level support for EHR system users • Address technical issues, provide system-use guidance, and resolve system errors promptly • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to understand workflow requirements • Customize EHR functionalities to meet workflow requirements • Create user documentation to improve staff proficiency with EHR applications • Monitor system performance and identify potential risks or inefficiencies • Coordinate with IT and vendor teams to implement upgrades or fixes • Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations and organizational EHR security policies • Support improved patient care outcomes and operational efficiency through effective EHR system management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience • 3 or more years working with Electronic Health Record systems • Experience preferably in a behavioral health, IDD, or social services setting • Strong understanding of clinical and billing workflows and clinical documentation processes • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and providing end-user support • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy standards • Knowledge of EHR systems such as myAvatar, myEvolv, or Credible preferred • Experience with healthcare data analytics and reporting tools preferred • Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards preferred • Previous clinical, billing, or healthcare IT support experience preferred • Basic SQL query knowledge preferred
