📋 Description

• Lead one front-end, back-end, or full-stack software development team through planning, execution, delivery, release readiness, and ongoing support • Manage, mentor, and develop engineers through coaching, feedback, clear expectations, performance management, and growth plans • Partner with Product Management to translate roadmap priorities into delivery plans, user stories, sequencing, capacity planning, and measurable outcomes • Partner with technical leads on design discussions, code and technical approach reviews, proof-of-concept work, and engineering practices • Strengthen execution through Agile practices, predictable planning, repository health, automated testing, quality gates, technical debt management, operational readiness, and production learning • Serve as a cross-functional partner to Product, Operations, Support, Security, and customer-facing teams • Resolve customer issues, strengthen feedback loops, navigate tradeoffs, and align team priorities with operational and business needs • Build a culture of ownership, quality, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement • Embed AI-DLC practices into software delivery and establish guardrails for AI-assisted coding, testing, review, security, privacy, and release validation • Coach the team on context engineering, test generation, refactoring, documentation, and responsible use of agents or copilots • Measure AI-DLC effectiveness through delivery predictability, cycle time, defect trends, quality, review findings, adoption, and business impact

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering or web development experience • 2+ years leading engineers as a manager or technical lead • Proven success delivering SaaS, web, mobile, or cloud-based software products in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities and multiple stakeholders • Strong technical foundation in C#/.NET, SQL, APIs, JavaScript/TypeScript, cloud platforms such as Azure, automated testing, CI/CD, and secure development practices • Demonstrated ability to improve engineering practices, resolve delivery risks, manage technical debt, and support modernization while maintaining product stability • Track record of leading a team through growth, modernization, or organizational change while sustaining engagement, accountability, and delivery momentum • Sound judgment and initiative, with the ability to make decisions, surface tradeoffs, and advance work with limited direction while keeping stakeholders aligned • Experience with prioritization, sprint planning, estimation, code review, test automation, incident response, and performance visibility • Practical experience applying AI-assisted development within a software team, including context engineering, evaluation, human oversight, automated gates, and security and privacy controls • Healthcare technology experience and familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, cybersecurity, privacy, and resilience • Experience improving developer productivity, test automation, CI/CD, observability, or modernization of established SaaS products • Experience with LLM platforms, coding agents or copilots, AI evaluation, or developer-platform tooling
