📋 Description

• Provide coaching, care coordination, referral, and appointing services to clients enrolled in the VA Caregiver Legal and Financial program • Assess participating clients’ needs to develop personal plans involving legal information and benefits navigation • Track, monitor, and document coaching sessions and related services in the case management system • Take dictation for legal forms • Provide web-assisted audio or video coaching using motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and related skills • Help clients develop personal goal plans and identify action steps • Connect clients with appropriate resources and make necessary referrals • Complete ongoing training as required by the customer and MyAdvisor

🎯 Requirements

• Paralegal, JD, or similar degree from an accredited university • Strong understanding of legal and financial terminology • Ability to provide services via phone, text, video, and a case management system • Ability to take dictation for legal forms • Ability to use motivational interviewing and solution-focused techniques • Strong concentration and attentiveness • Ability to respond to unpredictability • High level of record keeping • Independent judgment and discretion • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects/tasks • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions/work orders • Required licenses, certification or registration: N/A
