📋 Description

• Provide oversight and evaluation of proposals and monitor major contracts • Recommend and implement solutions to achieve functional objectives • Support key negotiations and resolve complex contractual and customer issues • Resolve performance issues, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies • Ensure compliance with Revolution Space policies and government contracting requirements • Develop and maintain customer relationships • Manage all aspects of the contracts portfolio, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities • Partner with executive leadership, program managers, and cross-functional teams to optimize program and contract performance • Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts • Act as the primary customer interface for contractual issues • Review and analyze customer RFPs, SOWs, contract requirements, terms, and conditions • Ensure company proposals are responsive to customer requirements and coordinate internal reviews before submission • Manage proposal fact-finding and conduct customer negotiations • Collaborate with finance, supply chain, mission assurance, legal, and other functional groups throughout the contract lifecycle • Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters and ensure company compliance • Prepare and manage written communications regarding assigned contractual matters • Prepare and maintain proprietary information agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other agreements • Maintain contract data in contract management and enterprise accounting systems • Provide direction and guidance to prime customers and internal stakeholders • Ensure contract compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other DoD agency regulations • Travel to key internal and external meetings as required

🎯 Requirements

• BA degree plus 12 or more years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree or Juris Doctor degree plus 10 or more years of relevant experience • In-depth knowledge of government regulations, including FAR and DFARS • Experience with Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity, and General Services Administration contracts • Hands-on experience with Other Transaction efforts • Commercial contracts experience on the selling side of contracts management • Ability to process complex information and data, solve complex problems, and make sound business decisions • Ability to handle multiple contractual activities with short turnaround times • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook • Well-developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to identify and mitigate contract risks and coordinate reviews according to policies and procedures • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain internal and external customer relationships • Willingness to travel for key internal and external meetings • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contract requirements • Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., or protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) • Preferred: Master’s degree in business administration or related field • Preferred: Certification in Contracts Management, such as CPCM or CFCM
