📋 Description

• Build relationships by presenting, demonstrating, and supporting the sale of Esri software and solutions as part of the account team • Help plan and execute sales strategies • Become a subject matter expert in Public Safety and a technical expert in ArcGIS • Communicate Esri technologies and anticipate customer needs and relevant technology trends • Craft and propose solutions that demonstrate how GIS addresses customer challenges and creates business value • Define and deliver strategies aligning Esri technology with customer business needs • Present technical demonstrations of proposed solutions to technical and non-technical customers • Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences • Provide best practices for the use, deployment, and administration of Esri technology • Present at conferences and trade shows

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience • 2+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications • 1+ years of experience in the Public Safety space • Understanding of ArcGIS from an IT context, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing • Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design • Understanding of sales and business development processes • Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments, including Microsoft Azure or AWS • Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25–50% • Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field • Must be a US citizen • Must undergo a background investigation • Must obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility for Secret, Top Secret (TS), TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with polygraph • Recommended: Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture • Recommended: Experience integrating software solutions with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms • Recommended: Experience incorporating real-time information streams with existing GIS data and IT infrastructure • Recommended: Basic understanding of artificial intelligence/machine learning concepts • Recommended: Programming and scripting experience with Python and JavaScript • Recommended: Master’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field
