📋 Description

• Secure, scale, and maintain core infrastructure powering Roboflow's product • Operate cloud architecture, databases, file storage, search clusters, microservices, and machine learning pipelines • Balance rapid delivery, high reliability, and robust security • Act as an infrastructure engineer, developer, and security analyst as needed • Collaborate with the product team and across product, operations, and customer-facing projects • Run and optimize a high-availability machine learning inference service • Collaborate with customer security teams on secure integration • Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to scale the platform cost-effectively • Define SLOs/SLAs and participate in incident response • Improve observability and alerting systems and related processes • Identify and implement cost-optimization opportunities • Contribute Python and JavaScript code to product features • Fix security vulnerabilities and bugs • Harden systems and processes for SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR requirements • Participate in an on-call rotation • Learn the product, company, customers, infrastructure, and security practices • Ship substantial work to end users • Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and assist customers with security questions and onboarding

🎯 Requirements

• Production experience with Kubernetes • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Helm charts, bash scripting, and Python • Experience operating, monitoring, and scaling large-scale applications in AWS and/or GCP • Proficiency in Node.js and Python • Ability to collaborate with full-stack developers on designing and operating SaaS applications • Hands-on experience with infrastructure for machine learning at scale, including GPUs, Docker, and Kubernetes • Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Spacelift • Awareness of security best practices for cloud operations • Experience leveraging LLMs and AI tools in the development lifecycle • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation • Ability to work primarily during daytime hours in the US • Ability to attend some synchronous meetings each week • Ability to pass a background check and provide references
