📋 Description

• Provide clinical and health economic information related to disease states and the appropriate utilization of Genentech medicines, both approved and pipeline • Engage healthcare providers, population health decision makers, and patients within the assigned region • Collaborate with regional partners to co-create the local medical strategy and deliver for customers • Ensure end-to-end customer experience for therapeutic-area-specific customers in the region • Demonstrate scientific expertise in assigned molecules/products and therapeutic areas when exchanging information with thought leaders and healthcare decision makers • Build and leverage relationships with external scientific and medical customers to understand evolving healthcare trends • Engage in value/cost-of-care discussions and adverse-event management topics • Participate in continuous therapeutic-area learning and upskilling programs • Adhere to applicable guidelines and procedures • Share customer insights with key stakeholders across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Clinical/Science Degree (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD, MSN, NP, PA, etc.) • BSN with extensive field medical experience with a pharmaceutical company • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in clinical, managed care, or industry settings • Proficiency in GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and ICH (International Conference on Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use) • Relevant therapeutic-area knowledge • Comprehensive understanding of product and safety profiles • Familiarity with managed care, health economics, reimbursement, and the legal and regulatory landscape in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry • Prior experience as a field medical science liaison preferred • 2 or more years of clinical or health economic research experience preferred • 2 years' experience in the therapy area preferred • In-depth knowledge of Phase IV/post-marketing drug development preferred • Business travel by air or car required for regular external business meetings and intermittent internal company meetings, up to 70% of time • Significant use of a company-provided car required • Applicants should reside within 30 miles of a major airport and within 50 miles of the established territory • Valid eligibility to drive a company vehicle or another vehicle on company business, subject to motor vehicle record checks
