📋 Description

• Act as a liaison between business/end users and IT systems development teams • Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and define technical scope and objectives • Recommend technology solutions or improvements to business processes • Research and document relationships between system components, end users, processes, data, applications, and devices • Translate business requirements into technical artifacts • Create scalable technical designs aligned with system architecture • Write clean, tested, organized, and timely code • Participate in code reviews and incorporate constructive feedback • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application- and database-layer issues • Write, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views in Microsoft SQL Server • Develop server applications using Java, C#, C++, and similar languages • Provide leadership, coaching, and task delegation to junior and mid-level engineers • Conduct code reviews and assess spike documentation • Design and implement complex, scalable, maintainable software components • Develop technical designs and specifications for functional and non-functional requirements • Assist developers with technical challenges and blockers • Mentor engineers in technical growth and career development • Partner with Product Owners during PI Planning and Sprint Planning to refine requirements, estimate effort, and align deliverables with business priorities

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or related field that includes programming coursework • 5+ years' experience in an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C#, C++, etc. • Strong Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent) • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views • 2+ years participating in client-facing requirement and solution design sessions, using appropriate technical terminology to communicate requirements and proposed solutions • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain complex object-oriented applications using languages such as Java and C++, applying OOP principles effectively • Working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and principles • Working knowledge of relational databases, data modeling concepts, and data structures • Familiarity with standard software development methodologies and frameworks, including SDLC, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), and Agile/Scrum or RUP • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to quickly learn and understand business processes, system integrations, and technical architectures • Proven ability to communicate effectively with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Scrum Masters, System Testers, and clients • Customer-focused approach with experience interacting directly with end users and supporting solution delivery • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
