📋 Description

• Partner with business leadership and strategy teams to review growth strategies and assess how M&A and equity investments fit within broader strategy • Manage RTI’s equity investment portfolio, engage with portfolio companies, and track and report performance • Work with bankers, venture capital, and private equity firms to source acquisition targets, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships • Present potential opportunities to relevant stakeholders • Guide business groups in developing business cases and pressure-testing acquisition, investment, and partnership rationales • Lead transaction execution, including due diligence coordination, synergy analysis, financial modeling, valuation analysis, transaction structuring, legal document review and negotiation, and internal approvals • Address post-closing activities, including post-close adjustments, escrow releases, dispute resolution, and representations and warranties insurance expiration dates • Partner with integration leaders and cross-functional business leaders to support initial integration activities and strengthen relationships across business units and functional teams • Advise business executives on financial implications and risks related to transaction issues and strategic M&A and investment decisions • Engage investment bankers on inbound acquisition opportunities and exchange M&A ideas and market perspectives • Report to the VP of Corporate Development • Lead acquisition and investment opportunities from market assessment and proactive sourcing through diligence, structuring, negotiation, and post-close accountability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of directly related experience • Demonstrated experience implementing strategies for large, complex global organizations • Experience working across organizations and leading through influence • Firm understanding of Excel financial modeling, financial statements, and valuation • Experience working in an environment with high expectations and competing priorities • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills • Ability to communicate ideas and recommendations at all organizational levels and across functional and geographic boundaries • Experience interacting with C-suite executives, investors, bankers, lawyers, and other third-party advisors in a transaction setting • Strong presentation, writing, and speaking skills • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer • RTI is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role, now or in the future • Knowledge and experience in Life sciences, Healthcare, or Government Contracting is highly valued
