⢠Lead the RTX Enterprise Quality Audit team ⢠Direct Enterprise Quality Auditors to ensure conformance with quality management system requirements ⢠Create and foster partnerships with Business Units and independent certification bodies ⢠Deploy organizational strategic direction and goals ⢠Engage in Quality Management System Optimization Initiatives ⢠Foster collaborative relationships with functional and business leaders ⢠Communicate with executive leadership on matters of significant organizational importance ⢠Develop and implement functional processes and procedures affecting functional results ⢠Direct compliance-related improvement projects and processes ⢠Support Business Unit Advance Surveillance Recertification Procedure (ASRP) initiatives, including office audits, witness audits, and central function management review initiatives ⢠Review and disposition audit finding appeal requests ⢠Assist Business Units with certification-body site surveillance and recertification audits, including audit schedules, logistics, and corrective-action closure ⢠Establish, update, and provide guidance for organizational metrics ⢠Analyze audit performance to identify trends, risks, and continuous-improvement opportunities ⢠Recommend and drive enterprise-level improvement initiatives using CORE methodologies ⢠Present audit data analytics and recommended actions to leadership ⢠Develop and mentor team members and build a strong talent pipeline ⢠Support special audits, independent assessments, site certifications, suspensions, major customer complaints, and high-risk sites as required
⢠University Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience, or, in the absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience ⢠Knowledge of Quality Audit programs and industry regulations ⢠Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS91XX standards ⢠AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification ⢠Ability to obtain Aerospace Auditor (AA) or Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) certification within one year ⢠Ability to obtain and maintain a secret U.S. government-issued security clearance ⢠U.S. citizenship required ⢠Active and existing security clearance required after day 1 ⢠Up to 70% domestic and international travel ⢠Aerospace Auditor (AA) or Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) certification preferred ⢠Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) and Regulatory (FAA/EASA/CAA) experience preferred ⢠CORE Champion certification preferred ⢠Experience with QMS Certified Bodies (3rd Party) and Advance Surveillance Reduction Procedure (ASRP) preferred ⢠Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or CORE Certification preferred ⢠Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions ⢠Proficiency in audit management tools, data analytics, and reporting systems ⢠Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-site audit processes ⢠Excellent organizational and time-management skills ⢠Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization ⢠Working knowledge of Corrective Actions processes/systems ⢠Proficiency presenting audit results and concepts to key stakeholders and executive leadership
