📋 Description

• Manage Supplier Quality & Development processes and projects as an individual contributor • Manage supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring/escalation, and nonconforming material submission processes • Support supplier onboarding and qualification/certification • Manage source inspection and material release processes • Perform escape management, root cause analysis, problem solving, and corrective/preventive action recommendations • Support RTX supplier programs, including Supplier Gold and RTX ZERO, to drive continuous improvement and sustainability • Provide expertise and recommendations for supplier qualification, certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution • Analyze quality data and develop part- and supplier-specific issue resolution and corrective actions • Guide root cause analysis and problem solving using Red-X and 8D methodologies • Identify systemic supplier issues and develop supplier-specific quality initiative strategies using PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, Control Plans, and SPC • Manage supplier qualification, source inspection, material release, Correction Action Boards, and DQ Clinics • Review processes and metrics for work transfer and process change management, including Resourcing Gate and PPAP acceptance per AS9145 and Collins processes • Travel up to 50% to supplier sites • Collaborate with IPT leaders, programs, assembly lines, suppliers, and other internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • 8+ years of professional experience combining shop floor operations Quality support and supply chain operations environment experience, or equivalent • Strong background in electronics manufacturing, including Components, CCAs, PWBs, and harnesses • Knowledge and expertise of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems • Knowledge of AS9145 Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) • Knowledge of NADCAP Electronics Manufacturing special process requirements • Knowledge of ANSI ESD S.20.20 • Experience with QMS, auditing/assessing, risk management, continuous improvement/Lean Six Sigma, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Measurement Systems Analysis creation and evaluation • Experience assessing suppliers’ manufacturing and supply chain process maturity and robustness • Experience monitoring and analyzing performance through Key Performance Indicators • Experience organizing supplier surveillance through audits, assessments, recovery plans, CID, and industrial risk management • Experience managing Escape Events, NoEs, SRIs, FAIs, LAIs, and Deviations/Concessions analysis and recovery plans • Experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders, IPT leaders, Programs, and Assembly Lines • Must be able to travel up to 50% to supplier sites • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/industrial engineering or similar field preferred
