📋 Description

• Support drafting, negotiation, interpretation, and management of complex proposal and contract documents for the Military Engines Organization • Serve as primary focal point for external and internal customers regarding contract issues and interpretation of contract requirements • Provide contract leadership and expertise in developing innovative solutions to complex contracting issues • Manage the contract from start through contract close-out • Review terms and conditions and advise on contracting rights and obligations • Mitigate contractual and programmatic risks • Interact with organizational managers and the United States Government • Draft documents and apply knowledge of aerospace business and legal issues • Use CORE process improvement tools • Travel approximately 10%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of contract management or contract drafting and negotiating experience; OR an advanced degree and 5+ years of such experience • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Strong customer interaction and negotiation skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and exercise discretion • Demonstrated teamwork skills • Strong document drafting skills • Understanding of aerospace business and legal issues • Familiarity with CORE process improvement tools • Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate preferred • Experience with FAR and DFARS strongly preferred • Strong contracting knowledge, document drafting and negotiation skills, and management skills preferred • Good business judgment and project management skills preferred
