📋 Description

• Support drafting, negotiation, interpretation, and management of complex proposal and contract documents for the Military Engines Organization • Support the F135 Production and Development team • Serve as the primary focal point for external and internal customers regarding contract issues and interpretation of contract requirements • Provide contract leadership and expertise in developing innovative solutions to complex contracting issues • Manage the contract from start through contract close-out • Review terms and conditions and advise on contracting rights and obligations to mitigate contractual and programmatic risks • Interact with managers across the organization and the United States Government • Exercise discretion and work independently • Travel approximately 10%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of contract management or a position focused on contract drafting and negotiating; OR an advanced degree and 7+ years of contract management or a position focused on contract drafting and negotiating • 5+ years of Contract Management experience working directly with the USG • U.S. citizenship is required • Strong customer interaction and negotiation skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong document drafting skills • Understanding of aerospace business and legal issues • Familiarity with CORE process improvement tools • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team • Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate preferred • Experience with FAR and DFARs strongly preferred • Contracting knowledge, document drafting and negotiation skills, and management skills preferred • Business judgment and project management skills preferred
