📋 Description

• Execute a global people safety strategy across the organization in coordination with operations, engineering, and other stakeholders • Lead global safety programs including machine guarding, robotics, contractor safety management, emergency preparedness, and confined space • Execute initiatives, programs, reports, and training across multiple EH&S disciplines to achieve and maintain compliance • Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve safety metrics and project targets • Coordinate with site EH&S professionals and global functions to improve safety performance • Identify and implement projects using data trends to drive improvements • Support the safety cultural transformation of factories through collaboration, best-practice implementation, and knowledge transfer • Monitor customers’ goals, new EH&S legislation, and new safety technologies • Coordinate safety metrics data analytics and reporting • Support global sites on safety activities and projects; provide onsite support as needed • Mentor safety professionals and cross-train with other safety professionals • Communicate updates to safety training materials across the organization • Maintain currency with regulatory, operational, and technical safety-management matters • Collaborate with RTX to align safety programs and initiatives • Travel up to 25% for site support on programs and initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Health & Safety or related technical discipline and minimum 10 years overall EH&S experience; or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite products • Experience delivering data analysis • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations for executive councils • Experience preparing Safety Performance Reports (SPR) • Experience preparing monthly reports to the president • U.S. citizenship is required • Must be based in the CT area and/or Northeast Region of the United States • Ability to manage own schedule and work in a self-directed manner • Ability to travel up to 25%
