📋 Description

• Conduct data analysis with Python to drive informed business decisions • Apply statistical methods to assess data completeness, accuracy, and reliability • Support engineering teams with root cause analysis investigations • Promote adoption of semantic models and ontologies across the organization • Design and build executable Python-based analytical models • Automate data processing, analysis, and formatting workflows • Clean, structure, and analyze datasets using Python • Deploy machine learning algorithms on numerical and categorical datasets • Integrate data across historically siloed business units • Transform complex engineering and operational data into actionable insights • Help develop and mature an end-to-end digital thread across Collins Aerospace products • Influence product performance, service optimization, and enterprise business intelligence strategies • Bridge engineering knowledge with advanced analytics and lead cross-functional initiatives that elevate data-driven decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Python experience for data analysis and model development • Background in Data Science, Statistics, or an Engineering discipline preferred • Experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry or Information Systems environments preferred • Familiarity with graph databases, semantic layers, and data ontology frameworks preferred • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Apache Spark preferred • Knowledge of Git or similar version control systems and software development best practices preferred • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle preferred • Experience with Agile collaboration and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence preferred
