📋 Description

• Develop and deliver persuasive recommendations to senior executives on international sourcing decisions and global footprint strategy • Develop and implement international sourcing strategies at country and supplier levels • Drive production acceleration and long-term global growth • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of OSC professionals • Set team direction and operating rhythms • Strengthen and standardize strategy development and implementation processes • Design and enhance digital tools • Lead cross-functional co-production, second-source, and industrial participation initiatives • Drive alignment and decision-making in complex international environments • Identify, assess, and prepare strategic international suppliers for onboarding • Conduct supplier assessments, due diligence, and required approvals • Maintain the international supplier capability database and ensure data integrity and accuracy • Engage with Requirements & Capabilities, Global Industrialization, and SBUs regarding international opportunities and industrial participation requirements • Support applicable Gate Reviews, primarily Strategy and Submit/Commit gates • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and international suppliers on capture strategies for international pursuits and industrial participation/offset projects • Assess proposed business solutions, including partner selection, project evaluation and development, and financial valuations • Travel internationally and domestically approximately 5–25%

🎯 Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience • Minimum 12 years of experience in Strategy, Supply Chain, Program Management, Operations/Manufacturing • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry • Experience developing and implementing functional, business, or portfolio strategies/strategic planning, including business cases and ROI analyses • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • U.S. citizenship required • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1 • Experience in supplier management, manufacturing, engineering, or program management roles, especially in international settings • Experience working with and leading geographically dispersed cross-functional teams • Experience developing and presenting strategic recommendations to senior executives • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and USG export/import requirements • Project and change management leadership experience, driving initiatives from inception through execution and closure • Experience with Statements of Work (SOW) and MRP/ERP systems such as SAP (PRISM) • Experience with offsets/localization/industrial participation and proposal development • Relevant certifications such as PMX Level 6, PMP, CPSM, or CSCP are preferred
