📋 Description

• Design, build, test, and deploy production-grade AI applications and services • Develop LLM-powered applications, intelligent agents, and agentic workflows • Build and improve retrieval-augmented generation systems • Integrate AI applications with APIs, databases, enterprise systems, tools, and knowledge sources • Develop reusable AI services, APIs, components, and frameworks • Implement tool calling and multi-step workflows for complex tasks • Improve semantic search, embeddings, retrieval, reranking, and contextual grounding • Apply prompt engineering and context engineering techniques • Develop evaluation methods for accuracy, relevance, groundedness, reliability, latency, and user experience • Identify and mitigate hallucinations, retrieval failures, and other AI system failure modes • Prototype and evaluate emerging AI technologies for enterprise use • Contribute to AI observability, monitoring, testing, security, governance, and responsible AI practices • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design sessions, and agile development activities • Partner with product teams, business stakeholders, engineers, and subject-matter experts to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline • Experience programming in Python • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, APIs, testing, object-oriented programming, and version control • Foundational understanding of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and generative AI concepts • Experience with Git or similar version-control technologies • U.S. citizenship is required • Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories • Preferred: Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience • Preferred: Experience building applications using large language models • Preferred: Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar technologies • Preferred: Experience with retrieval-augmented generation architectures • Preferred: Experience with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, hybrid search, or information retrieval • Preferred: Experience with AI agents, tool/function calling, multi-agent systems, or agentic workflows • Preferred: Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies • Preferred: Experience developing REST APIs or backend services using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks • Preferred: SQL, NoSQL, graph databases, and vector databases • Preferred: Cloud development, particularly within Microsoft Azure • Preferred: Docker, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices • Preferred: Microservices and distributed application architectures • Preferred: Knowledge graphs, ontologies, graph-based retrieval, or enterprise knowledge systems • Preferred: AI evaluation frameworks, observability, guardrails, and responsible AI • Preferred: Front-end or full-stack application development • Preferred: Experience building AI solutions through professional work, internships, academic projects, hackathons, research, or open-source contribution
