📋 Description

• Execute strategies and policy requirements for effective Global Trade management within the Military Engines F135 program • Serve as project manager for vendor repairs, site activations, induction, FAA, and follow-on sustainment activities for F-35/F135 customers and repair service providers • Integrate business objectives, tools, systems, and processes compliantly with RTX-PW Global Trade requirements • Support the F135 program in all aspects of import-export trade compliance while working cross-functionally across business units • Assist program Global Trade Focals in managing Classification, Screening/Diligence, Authorizations, and Transfers • Provide training and guidance on Global Trade topics, including training and risk assessments • Manage an export authorization portfolio to maintain compliance and support strategic and transactional objectives • Maintain awareness of Global Trade policies and procedures and communicate Global Trade touchpoints to business colleagues • Support audits, investigations, incident management, gap identification, remediation, metrics improvement, investigations, and disclosures • Identify training needs and develop and deliver Global Trade compliance training • Monitor changes to U.S. government regulations, sanctions, and P&W policies and flow down updates to programs and procedures • Contribute to periodic export-control reporting, including control-tower metrics • Benchmark across F135 Global Trade focal programs and related business and Global Trade organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of applicable work experience OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of applicable work experience • 3+ years of experience involving compliance with U.S. export regulations, including EAR and ITAR • Experience guiding business teams through hardware and technology export processes • Experience with export authorization requirements and transfer tools such as JEN / EDEX or SAP / GTS • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Strongly encouraged: general knowledge or experience with EAR or ITAR, including TAAs, MLAs, license exemptions or exceptions • Ability to read and interpret regulations and apply them to business processes, procedures, and transactions • Strongly encouraged but not mandatory: experience with jurisdiction and classification of CCL and USML (JCL2/JCL3) • Candidate accessibility/proximity to East Hartford or Middletown, Connecticut office locations • Ability to obtain security clearance • Strong analytical, project management, interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written communication skills • Collaborative team player with multitasking abilities, client-focused mindset, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive, dynamic environment • Professional maturity to work with minimal daily supervision while balancing numerous priorities
