📋 Description

• Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy • Review Supplier Statement of Work documents and collaborate with functional organizations to develop or revise them • Prepare and issue requests for quote and requests for proposal • Review quotes and proposals and analyze results • Plan negotiation strategies and lead negotiations • Address exceptions to flow-downs, specifications, quality notes, and Raytheon terms and conditions with cross-functional program contacts • Gather and file required purchase-order documentation according to internal procedures • Perform routine post-award management activities • Interact significantly with suppliers in collaboration with Commodity Performance Leads • Purchase material supporting the Raytheon business unit • Support a broad portfolio of Raytheon programs while working with external suppliers, internal customers, and functional areas • Support travel of up to 25%

🎯 Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience • Previous procurement experience • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Ability to support travel up to 25% • Experience in government procurement preferred • SAP experience preferred • Ability to analyze cost and pricing data and determine proposal compliance under FAR 15.4 preferred • Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) preferred • Ability to understand technical requirements for procured hardware and services, including Statement of Work review preferred • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
