📋 Description

• Lead procurement efforts supporting mechanical hardware and electrical components for multiple Land & Air Defense Systems programs • Manage day-to-day purchasing activities for required materials, goods, and services • Manage supplier performance and contractual flow-down adherence • Maintain accurate high-volume, medium-complexity procurement documentation under FAR/DFARS and Raytheon compliance requirements • Manage procurement metrics including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, receiving issues, invoice approvals, supplier acknowledgements, delivery constraints, MRP support, and on-time delivery • Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategies • Prepare, issue, and analyze requests for quotes • Prepare purchase-order documentation using Raytheon’s EPAD tool • Create Commercial Item Determinations and assess supplier assertions of commerciality as applicable • Perform price and cost analysis for proposals and purchase-order placement • Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations covering price, delivery, and terms and conditions • Build professional relationships with first-tier suppliers • Collaborate with Program, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other functional groups to achieve delivery and financial goals • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems • Coordinate and lead meetings between suppliers and internal customers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field, or 6 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Knowledge of sourcing practices, contract terms, and procurement standards • Ability to analyze data, compare quotes, and make cost-effective decisions • SAP-based environment experience preferred • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to establish internal and external relationships and influence others • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity • Organizational skills with ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate • Knowledge of and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) • Experience with written contractual authorization/vehicles, including Cost Plus and Firm Fixed Price • Experience assessing proposal compliance under FAR 15.4 • Experience with single-source, sole-source, and over-TINA procurements • Ability to travel as required on a limited basis
