• Design and build scalable software services, APIs, and user-facing features for Ascentia reliability management workflows, dashboards, alerts, and maintenance capabilities • Develop cloud-native applications for aircraft health data, prognostic insights, and maintenance recommendations • Collaborate with product, UX/UI, data science, infrastructure, and QA teams across the U.S. and India • Write high-quality, well-tested code following software engineering, security, and aviation compliance best practices • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate the software development lifecycle • Support standardized processes, requirements-based coding, and engineering traceability • Contribute to Ascentia’s technical roadmap • Mentor junior engineers • Advance agile and DevOps practices and continuous improvement across the program • Resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver maintainable fixes • Help airlines improve aircraft reliability, operational efficiency, and maintenance-driven disruptions
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 5 years of professional software development experience, or a related advanced degree and at least 3 years of experience • At least 5 years of experience developing and shipping production software applications • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, or Go • At least 3 years of experience designing, implementing, and integrating RESTful APIs • At least 3 years of experience with cloud-native architectures, including deploying and monitoring services • Experience with automated testing frameworks, code review tools, version control such as Git, and secure coding standards • Documented experience resolving production issues, performing root-cause analysis, and delivering maintainable fixes within agreed timelines • At least 2 years of experience working on agile, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones • Minimum 2 years of experience building full-stack web applications preferred • Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue, and a service-oriented backend framework preferred • Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and scalable design patterns preferred • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing tools, and DevOps workflows preferred • Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to knowledge-sharing activities preferred • Experience in iterative development environments with defined sprint or release cycles preferred • Demonstrated interest in aviation or experience supporting aviation, aerospace, or industrial operations software preferred • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future company immigration sponsorship • No security clearance required
