• Ensure engine and control system hardware and software are properly configured to support ground and flight test operations, including setup, validation, and readiness activities. • Perform engine system performance evaluation and prognostic health analysis, document findings, and troubleshoot control system issues to drive timely resolution. • Support the full test execution lifecycle by participating in test planning, pre‑ and post‑test briefings, mission control room data monitoring, and coordination with test cell and flight line teams. • Execute and maintain software and diagnostic tools used during testing, ensuring accurate configuration, data integrity, and effective communication of status and emerging issues. • Configure and execute test checkout of hardware/software configurations on electronic verification benches.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) • 5 years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3 years with an advanced degree. • Background in aerospace propulsion and/or engine control systems. • Experience using Linux environments and familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl and/or Python. • Experience in web development, PHP, SQL databases. • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and adapt to evolving test schedules and program needs.
