📋 Description

• Join our Engineering Team and shape the future of healthcare technology! • Our dedicated team is revolutionizing mental healthcare with comprehensive Provider and Patient Portals, empowering providers and patients alike. • Build and maintain systems that support payments, claims submission, and operational workflows across the revenue cycle. • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness across one of Rula’s most important business functions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling web applications in a production environment. • Proven experience leading high-priority technical projects from conception to delivery, including the ability to navigate trade-offs and align stakeholders. • A passion for fostering a high-performing engineering culture through code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring peers. • Distributed systems expertise: transaction processing, asynchronous queues, microservices, databases, etc. • Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery velocity, automate boilerplate, and enhance code quality. • Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, distributed systems that are scalable, maintainable, and secure. • Preferred Qualifications: Experience at startup / growth-stage companies; High personal awareness, and growth mindset (for Software Engineer); Experience with React, NodeJs, Typescript, Kafka, AWS or equivalent; Experience with on-call, willingness to deep dive complex issues and drive them to resolution.
