Rula supports 90+ conditions (anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, etc. ), provides tools for scheduling and managing appointments, and offers resources like tests/quizzes and a provider directory spanning all 50 states. It serves patients directly and partners with employers, health plans, and health systems, and emphasizes clinical standards, provider reviews, and ongoing professional development.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable platforms, services, and internal tooling for Rula’s Revenue Cycle Management team • Build and maintain systems supporting payments, claims submission, and operational workflows across the revenue cycle • Apply software engineering fundamentals, product thinking, and continuous improvement to solve complex operational challenges • Work closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders • Improve efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness across revenue cycle operations • Drive planning, execution, success measurement, and post-launch maintenance throughout the development lifecycle • Deep dive into complex issues and drive them to resolution • Support Rula’s mission of providing evidence-based, compassionate mental healthcare

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or other Engineer discipline • 3+ years of professional engineering experience • Experience working directly with product and design teams • Experience building highly responsive, scalable, reliable, available, and performant systems • Experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, execution, measuring success, and post-launch maintenance • Intermediate understanding of modern application architecture, API design patterns, data modeling, security, performance, and scaling • Intermediate understanding of frontend architecture, including component-based design, state management patterns, and rendering performance • Experience with React, NodeJs, Typescript, Kafka, AWS or equivalent • Experience with on-call and willingness to deep dive complex issues and drive them to resolution • Experience working on medium complexity projects with a focus on achieving sustainable results • Must be based in the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii
